Welcome to my page! If you're here it's probably because you love books. So do I! I read widely in every genre from Women's Fiction to Biography, but I especially love Sci-Fi and Fantasy. I write mainly for younger readers and I do that every day, in every spare second I have.

I grew up in a house filled with books so I suppose it's no surprise I ended up writing them. I was going to be a firefighter at one point. Then a pilot. (I developed a fear of heights when I was 20, so I guess it's just as well I didn't go down that path.) Instead I enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing and Editing and decided that if I was going to do something with my life, it should be something I'm passionate about.

When not writing, I cook. My family has an interesting Polish/Russian background and I love to make traditional dishes the way my grandmothers would have. I also spend time playing with and reading to my three sons, who love books as much as I do (and have way too many). I like being outdoors and enjoy walking. Australia is my home and it's very beautiful. One of my favourite things is finding new places in the countryside to explore.
